Barbara Joan Streisand, conosciuta semplicemente come Barbra, è un'icona della musica e dello spettacolo americano. Nata a Brooklyn nel 1942, ha conquistato il mondo con la sua voce potente e versatile, capace di spaziare dal jazz al musical, passando per il pop e l'opera. La sua carriera, iniziata negli anni '60, è costellata da successi straordinari: album come "The Streisand Album" (1963) e "Funny Girl" (1968), film memorabili come "Funny Girl" (1968) e "A Star Is Born" (1976), per cui ha vinto un Oscar, e una lunga serie di premi prestigiosi, tra cui due Grammy Award.
