Cute Is What We Aim For è una power pop band originaria di Buffalo, New York. Formatasi nel 2005, il gruppo ha pubblicato due album: *The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch* (2007) e *Rotation* (2010). La band era stata firmata con l'etichetta discografica Fueled By Ramen, ma in seguito è stata lasciata. Cute Is What We Aim For è nota per il suo sound pop-punk energico e melodico, influenzato da artisti come The Cars e Weezer.
