Cradle Of Filth è una band inglese di black metal fondata nel 1991 a Suffolk. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti del genere, sono noti per il loro stile musicale oscuro e teatrale, caratterizzato da atmosfere gotiche, melodie sinfoniche e testi spesso ispirati alla letteratura horror e al folklore britannico. Il loro debutto, *The Principle of Evil Made Flesh* (1994), segnò l'inizio di una carriera ricca di successi, tra cui gli album *Dusk... and Her Embrace* (1996) e *Cruelty and the Beast* (2000).
