Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA) sono una band hard rock statunitense formatasi a Palm Desert, in California, alla metà degli anni '90. Fondata dal chitarrista e cantante Josh Homme, ex membro della band stoner-rock Kyuss, QOTSA è considerata una delle band più influenti del XXI secolo. Homme è l'unico membro fondatore ancora presente nella formazione attuale. La musica dei Queens of the Stone Age si caratterizza per un sound heavy e riff chitarristici potenti, con influenze provenienti dal rock psichedelico, dal proto-metal e dal desert rock. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "No One Knows", "Go With The Flow" e "Song for the Dead".
