Ma$e, pseudonimo di Mason Durrell Betha, è un rapper statunitense nato a Harlem, New York, nel 1975. Ha raggiunto la fama negli anni '90 come membro del roster della Bad Boy Records di Sean "Diddy" Combs. Il suo stile musicale si caratterizza per una fusione di hip hop classico e melodie orecchiabili, spesso con influenze gospel. Il suo album di debutto, *Harlem World*, pubblicato nel 1997, ha riscosso un grande successo commerciale, grazie a singoli come "Feel So Good" e "What You Want". Dopo una pausa dalla musica per dedicarsi al ministero religioso, Mase è tornato nel mondo musicale negli anni 2000 con collaborazioni con artisti come Jay-Z e Lil Wayne. Nel 2017 ha annunciato il suo ritorno definitivo alla musica con l'album *Welcome Back*. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi ricordiamo anche "Been Around the World" e "Money Ain't a Thang".
