B.B. King, all'anagrafe Riley B. King (16 settembre 1925 – 14 maggio 2015), è stato un leggendario chitarrista, cantante, compositore e produttore discografico statunitense. Nato in Mississippi, fu uno dei pilastri del blues moderno, influenzando generazioni di musicisti con il suo stile unico e la sua tecnica virtuosa sulla chitarra. Conosciuto come "The King of the Blues", B.B. King ha venduto milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo, ottenendo numerosi premi Grammy e riconoscimenti per la sua carriera straordinaria. Il suo sound caratteristico, definito da un vibrato profondo e melodie bluesy, è stato influenzato dalla musica gospel e country del Sud degli Stati Uniti. Tra i suoi brani più famosi figurano "The Thrill Is Gone", "Everyday I Have the Blues" e "Lucille". B.B.
