Rage Against The Machine è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere alternative metal, attivo dal 1991 al 2000 e poi di nuovo dal 2007 ad oggi. Il gruppo è composto da Tom Morello (chitarra), Zack de la Rocha (voce), Tim Commerford (basso) e Brad Wilk (batteria). Conosciuti per il loro sound aggressivo, caratterizzato da riff di chitarra distorti e testi politici e sociali, Rage Against The Machine hanno raggiunto un'enorme popolarità negli anni '90. Le loro canzoni sono spesso incentrate su temi come la disuguaglianza sociale, l'oppressione politica e la lotta per i diritti civili. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Killing in the Name", "Bulls on Parade" e "Testify". L'album di debutto del gruppo, "Rage Against The Machine" (1992), è considerato un classico del genere alternative metal.
